Job Description: Market Research Analyst

Hours: Monday – Friday, up to 45 (some hours outside of this as required)

Work hours: EST shift (6:00 pm to 3:00 am). It will be a fixed shift.

Location: Cerebrum IT Park, Kalyani Nagar, Pune

Position: Permanent position, with three-month probation period

Salary: No bar for the right candidate (range 3.30LPA-7.90LPA)

In this role, you will conduct extensive research, compile, and analyze data on products and market conditions, and identify potential new markets, sales opportunities, and effective marketing methods for specific
products.

Your expertise in collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data will be instrumental in supporting strategic decision-making and driving business growth.

  • Identify and define the objectives of assigned marketing research projects; determine the best methods to meet those objectives.
  • Design questionnaires, polls, surveys, and other data collection resources.
  • Conduct primary and secondary market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscapes.
  • Research and compile data related to current product market, customer demographics, interests, and factors influencing product demand.
  • Analyze research results to identify ways of maximizing sales and market penetration of current products.
  • Compile data related to competitors’ products, including pricing, sales, and marketing or distribution methodologies.
  • Summarize and analyze research data and make recommendations based on findings.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations, including graphs and written explanations, to communicate complex findings.
  • Identify potential new products or markets through research.
  • Forecast and track industry marketing and sales trends based on collected data.
  • Deliver reports and presentations of findings to management and executive leadership.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in market research methodologies.

Education & Experience

  • Graduate in any discipline.
  • At least 3+ years of relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in market research, data analysis, or a similar role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Superior research and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate complex concepts and methodologies into easily understood language.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and derive meaningful insights.
  • Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods and techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
