Hours: Monday – Friday (some hours outside of this as required)
Work hours: GMT shift (3:30:00 pm to 12:30 am – Work From Office). It will be a fixed shift.
Location: Pune, IT Cerebrum Park, Kalyani Nagar
Length: Permanent position, with three-month probation period

Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Video Editor to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in shaping the visual storytelling of our brand through video content. You will be responsible for editing and producing high-quality videos that captivate and engage our target audience. The ideal candidate should have a strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in video editing and a keen eye for detail.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Edit and produce a wide range of video content, including promotional videos, product demos, tutorials, and more.
- Collaborate closely with the creative team to develop and execute video concepts that align with our brand’s vision and messaging.
- Incorporate feedback and revisions to refine video projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of industry trends and best practices in video editing and incorporate them into our work.
- Manage video assets, organize files, and ensure the efficient storage and retrieval of video footage and project files.
- Stay updated on the latest video editing software and tools, recommending upgrades or new software as needed.
- Troubleshoot technical issues and provide solutions to optimize video production workflows.
- Mentor and guide junior video editors, sharing your expertise and helping them develop their skills.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to ensure video content aligns with overall marketing strategies and goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities
- Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong and diverse portfolio showcasing your work.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Solid understanding of video formats, codecs, and compression techniques.
- Strong storytelling skills and the ability to convey complex ideas through visual storytelling.
- Creative thinking and the ability to bring innovative ideas to video projects.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work on time.
- Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to give and receive constructive feedback.
- Familiarity with motion graphics, animation, and sound design is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in film production, video editing, or a related field is preferred.
