The professional networking site will disallow the discrete Elevate app in DecemberLinkedIn announced that it will continue to make its business pages more robust, by integrating them congruently with the features of its Elevate app, an announcement that was made late last week. Together, LinkedIn Business Pages & Elevate have equipped brands to effectively interact with their niche-specific audience groups & even their competitors. For the past 4 years, Elevate has been a preferred platform for brands to engage with their customers & encourage them for brand advocacy. Simultaneously, more than 50 million businesses have built their LinkedIn Pages primarily to engage with their target audience groups.
According to Rishi Jobanputra, Senior Director of Product Management at LinkedIn, now is the right time to bring Elevate & LinkedIn Business pages together, to integrate & build on the exclusive success of these platforms & to unveil & accelerate the promising new probabilities. The integration will help brands better engage with their employees & build stronger communities in a digitally secure & trusted environment. Rishi adds that when an admin post is published on a brand’s LinkedIn Page, 30% of the engagement comes from the brand’s employees. Also, the brand’s employees are 14X more likely to share that content as compared to any other type of content. The functionalities of Elevate are available to the customers free of cost. Following the integration of Elevate with LinkedIn pages, the admins of the LinkedIn business pages will be able to expand their reach on LinkedIn & will be able to engage their entire organizations on the social networking platform. The assimilation of Elevate seatholders will further help the cause of extending brands’ reach. The integration will also result in efficient content distribution through the admin pages of the businesses, leading to higher employee engagement. The stand-alone Elevate functions will be available for the LinkedIn Pages of the businesses through December 2020, until Elevate ceases to exist. Over the next few months, LinkedIn can be expected to share regular updates on the integration, as the transition date verges on.
